Our Focus

• Studio Pizazz focuses on child development so that every class is appropriate for that age and developmental level.  This ensures safety and proper technique.
• Studio Pizazz offers a comfortable environment that embraces students of all ages, levels and body types to help nurture a love for movement and develop a healthy body image.
• Studio Pizazz attends select competitions and conventions throughout the year allowing students ages 8-18 to compete. Company Z is in the process of being developed for students who wish to dance and compete at a professional level.  
• All of our teachers possess not only a great deal of experience but also a love for dance and movement which creates an environment that nurtures each dancer and helps them create their own passion for dance.
• All of our classes include components of free dance, play, choreography, and creative license to help each dancer develop a love for what they do and the ability to express emotion while dancing and performing.
• Studio Pizazz is focused on maintaining a comfortable, clean learning environment. Our studio is equipped with sprung floors, large dressing rooms, refrigerated air, and bottled water for the dancers comfort and safety.

Studio Pizazz supports the current movement to shift the focus of dance from competition and trophy awards and return it to the passionate expressive art that it is meant to be. We fully support participation in competitions as this is a great way to learn, improve skills, and enjoy the art of dance. However our main focus is on providing an atmosphere that focuses on dance as a passionate art form. Many judges and directors are now looking for dancers with the "It" Factor. This combined with technical perfection creates a winning combination. Dancers should be provided with an atmosphere that nurtures stage presence and helps them keep their passion for dance alive.

At Studio Pizazz we strive to make sure our dancers develop a passion for their art, as well as being able to interpret passionate choreography and learn new steps quickly. Our classes include components of fun, freestyle dance, acting and character development, and the ability to have input while still maintaining enough discipline to produce highly technical skills and competitive dancers. We are focused on balance in each of our dancers, allowing them to be able to put on passionate performances and avoid robotic ones. Our goal is not to put trophies on the walls but to focus on giving each dancer the skills to be able to love what they do and share this love with the audiences they perform for. We are focused on the joy of movement in all of our classes.
